It is located on the delta of the Chao Phraya River, about 25 miles (40 km) from the Gulf of Thailand. Bangkok is the only cosmopolitan city in a country of small towns and villages and is Thailand’s cultural and commercial center. Bangkok is full of things to do and see from ancient monuments to great restaurants. Easy to get around by Skytrain, underground, tuk-tuk, taxi or a trundling ancient bus.
